InvierteMe es un proyecto promovido por un grupo de jóvenes emprendedores que tiene su origen en Silicon Valley.
Madrid. – InvierteMe, plataforma que pretende convertirse en un referente internacional para los emprendedores y en un punto de encuentro entre inversores e instituciones a través de Internet, presenta su beta privada a sus más de 2.500 usuarios registrados entre emprendedores e inversores de diferentes países, principalmente de España y Latinoamérica.
En noviembre de 2011 se anunció el inicio del desarrollo de InvierteMe y durante este tiempo son ya más de 2.500 los emprendedores e inversores que se han registrado en la web gracias al apoyo de las principales referencias del sector como, por ejemplo, TodoStartups.com. A partir del miércoles 21 de noviembre, los emprendedores podrán empezar a utilizar la nueva plataforma donde podrán subir sus ideas o proyectos, encontrar a otros emprendedores para que se unan a sus equipos de trabajo, recibir formación especializada para potenciar sus habilidades emprendedoras o encontrar diferentes fuentes de financiación según su modelo de negocio. Por otro lado, los inversores encontrarán en InvierteMe una gran comunidad de Talento donde escoger la mejor idea para invertir.

Un proyecto con origen en Silicon Valley
InvierteMe es una iniciativa que tiene su origen en Silicon Valley. Durante el verano de 2011, los 14 ganadores del concurso Yuzz de la Fundación Banesto, entre los que se encontraba Héctor M. Morell, fueron reconocidos con un viaje formativo a San Francisco. Tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer el ecosistema emprendedor de Silicon Valley, hacer networking con emprendedores e inversores americanos, recibir formación en las universidades de Berkeley y Stanford, así como visitar las grandes empresas asentadas en Palo Alto: Google, Ideo o Intel entre otras.
Fue allí donde comenzó a gestarse esta nueva idea con el objetivo de impulsar, motivar y formar a los emprendedores de cualquier edad para ayudarles a sacar sus proyectos adelante.

Morell, Juan Merodio – experto en marketing digital – o Carlos Ruíz Tapiador -emprendedor/inversor que fundó EConta, compañía que adquirió posteriormente el BBVA, y actual Fundador de TMClick o ContyGo, sendas empresas participadas por el Fondo de Capital Riesgo DAD- son algunos de los profesionales que se han reunido para lanzar InvierteMe.
Héctor M. Morell, CEO de InvierteMe, afirma que “el 80% de los emprendedores no saben muy bien dónde encontrar financiación o cómo rodearse de un buen equipo, mientras que el 20% restante se dedica a saturar a los inversores con proyectos aún muy inmaduros”.

A project that started in Silicon Valley
InvierteMe is an initiative that began in Silicon Valley. In the summer of 2011, the 14 winners of the Yuzz competition from Fundación Banesto, amongst those including Héctor M. Morell, were awarded with a training trip to San Francisco. There, they had the opportunity to get to know the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Silicon Valley, network with American entrepreneurs and investors, receive information at the universities of Berkeley and Stanford, as well as visit the large businesses established in Palo Alto: Google, Ideo, Intel amongst others.
It was there where a new idea started to develop with the aim of inspiring, motivating and shaping entrepreneurs of any age in order to help them to get their projects moving.
Héctor M. Morell, Juan Merodio – expert in digital marketing – and Carlos Ruíz Tapiador – entrepreneur/investor that founded EConta, the company that later purchased BBVA, and founder of TMClick or ContyGo, investee enterprises of the Venture Capital Fund DAD – are some of the professionals that have got together in order to launch InvierteMe.
Héctor M. Morell, InvierteMe’s CEO, states that “80% of entrepreneurs do not know very much about where to find financing or how to get a good team, whereas the 20% that is left saturate investors with very immature projects”.
